Vivian Bond is a Brooklyn, New York based artist working with 35mm film. By exposing a frame of film multiple times to different subjects, she is able to combine and layer patterns, textures, and recognizable forms from the surrounding environment. The photos should convey the same feeling one experiences when coming into a new place for the first time, openness, excitement and the opportunity to tap into our often latent imaginations.
