Tessa is an artist living in Wales, UK, painting in the medium of watercolour. She is mostly self-taught, having stopped creating art between school and a postgraduate degree in molecular biology, then rekindling a love for it in recent years. Now she creates expressive and bright paintings, often using self-portraiture to touch on themes such as mental health, or simply to create a distraction from the norm for both the viewer and herself.
