Stephen is a New Zealand artist based in Paris. His work utilizes the figure, highlighting the recognition of humanity through shape and the emotive power it holds. By depersonalizing the figures it removes them as a separate entity and makes them a vessel, giving a reflective interpretation and subsequent identification of the emotional response to the viewer. Looking to encourage the search for form in all things, the human form being the one we share, therefore always poignant.
