My name is Stainer Chindebvu an artist originally from Malawi but now based in Berlin. I’m currently studying Fine art at the Berlin University of Arts. I have been painting seriously and showing my art since I finished school in 2008.
My art reflects my journey as an artist and where I currently am, inwardly and literally. Aspects of what im going through, my biography, interests or location make themselves into my paintings almost like a diary.
I usually work in series or groups of painting s based on a theme, which I may leave unfinished to start another batch which will hopefully complement or complete the first group of works.
The paintings selected are from 3 different series.
