MEDUSA – was one of the Gorgon sisters and daughter of Phorkys and Keto, the children of Gaea (Earth) and Oceanus (Ocean). Project lies in the conscious transformation of basic features of the epoch serving as a inspiration and base to very strong expression. As a processual object, sculpture still reveals its new face.he Medusa has been portrayed by Leonardo da Vinci Caravaggio or Salvadore Dalí. In my “Medusa” sculpture the snakes are the plurality of arms in her double personality. It is an artifact of art, both traditional (forms refer to the old masters) and modern because of the multiplicity of character it has. Sculpture allows us to use many senses, which are the basis of perceiving. Changes depend on the way of exposure, lights and the angle of view through reflections in a chrome base. Through a blend of different periods and anachronism combines aesthetic excellence of antique culture with strong expressionism.
