Born in 1986, Istanbul, Gamze Taşdan graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Arts and Design,department of Combined Arts. The works in Taşdan’s, take as their starting point states of womanhood, gender, popular and traditional culture and turkish cinema (Yeşilçam). The artist, who sometimes uses her own face and body as images, draws the attention with her mocking attitude.
