Having always been drawn to the spiritual and emotional impact of social issues on society, Gail Ojeda Duggan is an illustrator and portrait painter with a heart for people, social themes, and politics. Her oil paintings capture the spirit and mood of her subjects, and are a balance between what is seen and what is felt. She holds an MFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and has exhibited at Art in General Gallery, AIGA Gallery, Visual Arts Gallery, New York Art Director’s Club, Visual Arts Museum, and others. She has illustrated for several magazines and institutions such as The New Yorker and The United Nations and currently lives in San Antonio, Texas.
