I am Cris Valencia, a multidisciplinary Spanish artist based in Madrid. In my works I like to reflect issues that have to do with the human being, with their inner nature and relationships. My intention is to generate a reflexion or feeling in the viewer, trying that something of what people see resonates in their interior. There is always an autobiographical part in what I do, but my inspiration also comes from infinite places: games of words, movies, photographs, texts, … everything that surrounds us can inspire! The game is a very present element in my work, it is not a coincidence that Surrealism is one of my favorite artistic movements. One of my latest projects is the digital drawing, where I like to play with the contrast between aesthetics and content. The world can be a big playground, let´s enjoy it!
