I make pictures on pseudo religious themes heavily influenced by the 15th century Netherlandish Realism school of painting. In my cramped workshop I assemble my pictures out of discarded toys, plastic animals and old and broken religious figures that I paint, glue or in some other way tamper with. Next I place these things into a painted landscape and embed the whole thing in resin. When I finish a painting and hang it, fisherman like, on the wall I am almost happy to die.
